Today we woke up to a winter wonderland! Everything is covered in snow - including the dog park! Fortunately, Maddie & Dexter LOVE the snow - so around 8am we were in the park running around in the snow, throwing a stick that they found 6 inches under the snow, and taking pictures.
My dad and I went out for breakfast this morning and the roads are basically clear - just a bunch of snow on the sidewalks. Dad thinks it might get messy tonight, so we are going to stick around here to grab dinner. There is a Morton's Steakhouse at the Westin - so I guess we will just go there...........darn!
This is the front of the building - check out the fountain in the middle of the picture.......
This is the view from the living room. We overlook the dogpark so we knew exactly what were were getting into this morning! It really is pretty outside!

Maddie & Dexter love to chase sticks, balls, or what ever we throw off into the distance!
Dexter and Maddie found a stick that was burried 6 inches deep in the snow. We have no idea why they dug it up, but it provided for about 6 minutes of fun in the park.
We took about 100 pictures this morning! Jenn gets mad because I take so many.....but I figure the more I take, the more likely I will get some cool shots! So, of the 100 pictues, we got a few good chase scenes......... Check them out!

Maddie always chases Dexter - we are not sure which pup is faster, but for some reason Dexter never lets Maddie catch him...... I wonder why?
If Dexter were another animal, he would be a pig! He is such a Ham when the camera comes out:-) As a matter of fact, I pulled out the camera as we walked in the park this morning and he stood at my feet waiting for me to snap a picture of him posing! Maddie on the other hand dows not care - so I have to always catch her in action. So here are a couple pictures of the two pups.

Rise & Shine! - Here we are in our dog walking outfits at 8am......in the snow:-) Isn't Jenn cute in her glasses?
